Yesterday Barclays Center's snow removal equipment was dropped off on Dean Street directly across from the fire station. The equipment included a trailer which was left behind. When I arrived the fire department and the operators of the equipment were engaged in a heated discussion. It appeared to me that the trailer left behind was in the way of the operation of the fire house. A fire truck was waiting to enter. The fire truck needs a wide turning radius to enter and exit the house. The street itself was blocked in the meantime.
As construction has increased in the area, Barclays Center operation appears to be spreading out beyond its own property perimeter onto public streets and sidewalks.
