Contractors have closed a lane and cut into 6th Avenue near Dean Street. They are installing the pipes that will contain the broadcast and electric cables for the satellite uplink parking lot.
They are required to go through a public revocable consent hearing for this work. That public hearing has not been scheduled.
The 311 operator read the permits FCR has to work on 6th Avenue. They are for thing like sidewalk repair and working on the signal lights. The work taking place does not conform to that.

311 Follow Up
I received the following notice: Your Service Request was closed. The condition was inspected and it was in compliance with Department of Transportation standards, not hazardous, or a valid permit exists.
Since the phrasing of the disposition failed to confirm there is a permit for the work, I followed up with 311. My complaint was filed as a "hazardous" condition rather than for the legality of the work. I resubmitted my complaint with more specificity including the agency requirement there be a revocable consent for this work. The Dean Street Block Association intends to give input into the public hearing required for a revocable consent to be approved.
The new complaint number is C-1-758784675.
