ESDC please take note:
Per the Atlantic Yards Watch block 1129 webcam's time lapse photos, it is clear that the last time the piles on block 1129 were misted was 6/27. There was active work on the lot on 6/28 and 6/29. The piles have not been covered when work has stopped. It has not rained since 6/27. The current temperature is 94F. The photos do not show anyone inspecting the piles in the last two days. This is a clear violation of section N.4(a)(iv) of the MEC, which states:
All stockpiled dry materials (e.g., sand, aggregate) shall be water-misted; sprayed with non-hazardous, biodegradable suppressing agent; covered; or otherwise enclosed.
Further, the time lapse photos show that even on 6/27, watering of the surface of the lot around the piles was infrequent at best, and non-existent on 6/28 and 6/29. This is a clear violation of section N.4(a)(iii) of the MEC, which states:
All unpaved haul roads and excavation surfaces shall be continuously watered by watering trucks or constant misting, so that surfaces remain damp at all times when in use during construction. Gravel cover shall be applied to unpaved surfaces which are regularly traveled.
