Huge dust storm slams my apartment building

I was walking home yesterday and got caught by the big storm. Before the rain started the wind lifted a layer of dirt off what looked like the whole new lot - piles and all. The cloud was swept up against where I live on Vanderbilt. I took the attached photo as I ran to get home. The dust storm lasted a few minutes until the rain started. I've never seen anything like it. It was the biggest cloud of dust I've seen from the lot.
