2012-08-10 more egregious disregard for pedestrian safety by blocking only NB sidewalk access with no flaggers
More of parent with baby pram, the elderly & other pedestrians forced into dangerous traffic lanes by ConEd workers blocking sidewalk; pedestrians (with back to traffic so they can’t see traffic coming at them) again forced into congested traffic lanes by ConEd workers blocking the entire sidewalk. The west side of 6th between Dean St & Pacific is heavily congested, the entire area is not very safe for pedestrians, and the next closest NB access is Flatbush or Vanderbilt because Carlton Ave Bridge is closed. This area needs traffic agents or other safety measures.
