Rihanna tour buses turn north side of Pacific St & 6th Ave into RV Park complete with slide out rooms running generators in a ‘red no standing’ zone near residential building.

Litter on this block Pacific St. between 4th & 5th
has quadrupled, the patrons throw bottles and cans
in front yards, tree pits and general garbage cans.
My daughters car had vomit, of chunky hotdogs on the
bumper. Now large bags are garbage are tossed around
for fun and left like this on the street.

What happened to encouraging the patrons to use the
subway at the entrance of Barclay center. What
happened to the vigilant police presence we saw the first month?

A pile of 20 or 30 bags of garbage has been in the satellite uplink parking lot since at least Saturday.  The pile is against the wall of the home next door.  It is visible from the street through the uncovered entrance on 6th Avenue.

70 Fifth Avenue: Chops to police - 2 cars parked in no parking zone with tickets.

53 Fifth Avenue: black stretch limo pared at hydrant license number 102414 C also white Denali GMC idling behind it.

429 Bergen Street: black Honda sedan parked in bus stop

446 C Dean Street 2 cars parked in no standing zone 1 is a white Lexus 1 is a small black sedan. BRAVO 78 -- both ticketed (at 8:40 PM - will they be towed?)

578 Pacific street black suburban limo parked at hydrant license T626126 C

GARBAGE:

A bag of empty beer cans (2 six packs) and another black garbage bag were left behind after the game by whomever parked in front of my house. this is the second time this has happened in 10 days.

2012-12-11 700 Pacific St car park traffic jam & blocking & driving on sidewalk

Three issues. (only noise issues were reported to 311 last night) For the past couple weeks, there has been construction work which I usually notice around 2:00 a.m. Very loud, includes beeping trucks and loud equipment which I can't identify resulting in a sound similar to a vacuum cleaner. This work seems to be being conducted by the DOT. Second issue is ongoing street cleaning also around 2:00 a.m. which is extremely loud and ongoing. The street cleaning seems to coincide with Barclay Center events. The hours should be restricted.

Two community meetings related to Barclays Center and Atlantic Yards have been scheduled for the next few weeks:
 
1).  PUBLIC PRESENTATION OF THE B2 DESIGN 
Empire State Development, along with Community Boards 2, 6, & 8 are co-hosting a public meeting on the evening of Thursday, November 29 to share with the Brooklyn community the plans for the first residential building at the Atlantic Yards site.  Representatives of the developer will make a presentation and answer questions.

WHEN:  Thursday November 28, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
 
2).  ATLANTIC YARDS QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE
This meeting is a forum for representatives from the community and civic groups to engage elected officials, Empire State Development, FCRC and arena operators regarding issues affecting the quality of life for residents and businesses in close proximity to Barclays Center.
Each civic group can designate only 1 representative to directly participate.  That civic group should RSVP that individual’s name and contact information to Derek Lynch at Dlynch@esd.ny.gov.  Email suggestions for the agenda by Friday, November 30th.
