2014-07-16 parking on sidewalk starts - don't know owner(s)
I was forwarded a photo of a module parked in the turning lane on Dean Street again today which I hope to attach tomorrow.
In the meantime, I have also verified the incident using the arena webcam. The module was in the turning lane (and it appears bike lane) from 10:25 AM to 12:55 PM.
A local resident has forwarded by email a photo of a module parked in the Dean Street turning lane at 11:30 am today. According to the resident, the bicycle lane was partially blocked. No 311 complaint was filed. The situation no longer exists.
Using the Atlantic Yards Watch arena-cam I've established the module was parked in the lane from 10:05 am to 1:25 pm. A truck, most likely the truck moving the module, was then parked in the same location from 1:35 pm to 2:15 pm.

2014-06-16 B2 Mod blocks bike & left turn lane creating new hazardous traffic pattern change no warning -
Unistalled B2 mod blocks left NB 6th Ave turn and high traffic bike commuting lane; bikers must egress into car traffic; no warning signs in advance to warn drivers or cyclists that a new hazardous traffic pattern change! This is already a highly congested traffic area. 1 cyclists was so confused he crossed over to the side of Dean St that is not marked bike lane. (see picture) This is @ the peak traffic time.
A cement truck associated with B2 work located itself in a no standing zone on the south side of Dean Street this afternoon. I videotaped it operating in front of homes for over 3 minutes at 5:10 and then left to do some shopping. It was at the location when I arrived.
I came back around 35 minutes later and NYPD was in the process of asking it to move away. The truck must have been idling next to homes for 35 minutes, and standing in a no standing zone in an area already seriously constrained by construction on two sides of the street.
A dump truck has been aligned with the narrow channel assigned for pedestrians to pass by B2 during construction. The dump truck is being filled with dirt and concrete by a backhoe. There is no netting protecting pedestrians who pass by the truck. In the range of unsafe work practices, this one seems pretty high.
Because this is occuring right at the Barclays Center entrance, Miley Cyrus's staff is standing by watching. Fans are already gathering in the vicinity. Is the contractor not a Miley Cyrus fan?
A cable has fallen in the way of pedestrians on Dean Street near Vanderbilt Avenue. I called 311 about an hour ago. They put me through to Con Ed who put it on emergency status and promised a response within about an hour.
The cable does not appear live, but i can't be certain. The cable extends from the buildings on the south side of the street, up to the top of light posts, and across the street to a light post on the north side of the street. Originally it kept going to the construction site.
Two long white stretch limos have been parked in the turning lane on Dean STreet at Vanderbilt Avenue for the last hour. Photo is attached.
A "Stage Call" truck passed through narrow Dean Street and turned left on Carlton Avenue tonight. Dean Street and Carlton Avenue are not legal truck routes.
The truck was headed to block 1129 where it apparently sat and idled until soon after I documented the idling. At around 9:45 it left block 1129.
