Concrete delivery blocks Dean/Vanderbilt intersection; information about work couldn't be more limited

Location:
In and around the Dean/Vanderbilt intersection
When:
August 13, 2015 - 3:30pm

A large delivery of concrete was made to the 550 Vanderbilt site using an entrance to the site in the Dean/Vanderbilt intersection rather than the Pacific Street entrance.  To use the entrance the trucks had to be backed through the gate, requiring the closure of the Vanderbilt/Dean intersection with the use of flaggers.  A concrete truck was also witnessed entering the Pacific Street entrance from Vanderbilt via the north bound traffic lane.

Late night work on 535 Carlton with late notice; cement truck down Carlton Avenue

Location:
535 Carlton and Carlton Avenue generally
When:
July 27, 2015 - 7:58pm

A cement pour continues to take place tonight at 535 Carlton Avenue.  There was no notice of the late night work before the work took place -- I stumbled on it trying to identify where the noise was coming from.  I documented it at 6:15 PM and again at 7:15 PM.   You can see the fellow with the orange vest sending a text in the video below. A community notice from the Pacific Park Community Liaison, but not the State went out at 6:45.

Unbearable 24-hour/7-day construction noise and disruptions

Location:
Atlantic Avenue and 6th Avenue
When:
June 9, 2015 - 2:50am

There are more incident reports- but this is one of the report numbers-- this has become unbearable, we cannot sleep one single night for the past 3 weeks.

Tractors backing up and beeping at every minute of day and night. I cannot work from home doing recordings as I usually do, losing time and money, and sleep over and over--
Forest City Ratner Companies/ Greenland / Pacific Park simply ignores Atlantic Terrace-- an 80-family building facing the intersection of 6th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue.

Passing vehicle hit by debris from drill at Dean and Carlton

Location:
Dean Street at the Carlton Avenue intersection
When:
January 29, 2015 - 8:10am

I was passing by this morning and found an understandably upset driver being interviewed by a Roux-uniformed employee with a clipboard on Dean Street.  Her car and the Roux-labeled truck were stopped in the travel lane.

The driver claimed a "clump of dirt" had flown threw the air and hit her side window as she drove by.  The car was passing by the drill rig at the time.  Her side window was shattered.  She noted that if sitting near the window, her child would have been injured.  Photo is attached.

Dirt sprayed outside of construction perimeter by drill rig likely

Location:
Dean at Carlton Avenue
When:
January 22, 2015 - 11:55am

A drill located at Dean Street and Carlton Avenue may have sprayed beyond the construction perimeter onto Dean Street last Thursday.  The video here shows red soil outside the perimeter that matches exactly the same soil the drill is excavating.  The video also shows red dirt and pebbles extending from the drill all the way to the construction fence.  It looked to me like traffic had worn away evidence of dirt further into the street.
