Dump truck delays fire response
A dump truck backed into the entrance on Dean Street for the 535 Carlton Avenue construction site delayed fire response from the Dean Street firestation. The dump truck was backed into the entrance on Dean and blocking the street. The fire truck could not get by.
Fire truck caught in traffic jam on Dean Street again
I don't know if the fire truck was on a call or not, but it had its lights flashing. It turned on its siren once it crossed Vanderbilt. The time of the filming was between 6:30 and 7:00 pm.
The video starts long after the fire truck was caught in traffic on Dean. The video starts roughly at mid-block. The traffic was likely backed up to the fire house more than a block away. All the same the truck takes 3 and 1/2 minutes to cross Vanderbilt Avenue.
Two plus minute delay added to fire truck response time
Fire trucks exiting the fires station on Dean Street do not have any routes to emergencies using the legal direction of traffic which are not impeded by construction closures. Even some of the routes against traffic are now impeded. In fact, four of five routes out of the fire station are now impeded by construction.

Advertising on residential streets
I arrive home from a business trip to find once again advertising on our streets, they had to remove it before. WHY again? Advertising is not permitted in residential areas.
